Pheasants Roost is situated just off the A6003 on the south shore of Rutland Water. Travelling through the pretty village of Manton going out towards Lyndon and Edith Weston. We are situated 3 fields out on the right-hand side before Rutland Water Garden Center.
Uppingham is approx 4 miles to the south and Oakham approx 4 miles north, both give easy access from the A47 (Peterborough/Leicester M1) and A1. Pheasants Roost can be accessed from Stamford which is to the East.
For walkers and cyclists, the cycle track from Oakham leads directly to Pheasants Roost or via the circumference of Rutland Water. Rutland Water Shorelink Bus passes Pheasants Roost door 8 times a day and the village buses to Uppingham and Oakham run to and from Manton twice an hour. Trains into Oakham run regularly from Stamford, Peterborough, Leicester and Birmingham.
